Connecting Jewish Americans and Israelis in North NJ

Hoboken April 5, 2010

Here is a suggestion for nice place to visit on a sunny day –

It was 10 o’clock when I opened my eyes and realized that it’s a beautiful, sunny Sunday morning.

We called our “new in the neighborhood” friends and offered them to join us for a nice, spontaneous, day out.

We packed a few snacks, bottles of water, hats, sunscreens, sunglasses, bikes, scooters, skateboards and a few kids and by lunch time we were all ready to zip our backpacks and hop into the car.

We headed towards the Hudson’s water front.

We got to beautiful, colorful, lively, skittish Hoboken – the perfect place to enjoy such a perfect weather.

We walked through the Frank Sinatra park, watching at the beautiful Manhattan just across us.

Had a lovely lunch in one of the many open aired taverns and after a lovely dinner and a great ice-cream  headed back home.

That was a great day out !

Thank you Ornit and Nir for the great recommendations.

We’ll be happy to hear your recommendations for nice places to visit in our area.
